Will I be charged VAT if I am an EU customer?

If you're a VAT-registered business in an EU country, you will not be charged VAT on purchases from us. However, if you're a non-VAT-registered business or a consumer, local VAT may apply depending on your destination country’s regulations.

Why is the VAT number on my invoice different sometimes?

Following Brexit, we expanded our operations to better serve our EU customers. To ensure smooth trade and remain compliant with EU VAT regulations, we registered VAT numbers, such as the one for our Netherlands office. Depending on factors like the location of the material, order quantity, and courier method, the relevant VAT number will appear on your invoice. Rest assured, regardless of which VAT number is shown, your order will be delivered smoothly and in full compliance with all applicable VAT laws.

Does this mean there are any changes to prices or delivery times?

No, your pricing and delivery times should not be significantly affected. The use of EU VAT numbers helps ensure that our transactions comply with EU VAT laws and facilitates the movement of goods. As always, we strive to offer competitive pricing and efficient delivery to all our customers, regardless of their location. Our typical lead time for orders is 5 to 10 working days from the date of dispatch, provided that the materials are in stock.

Do I need to do anything differently when purchasing from you?

No, the process for purchasing from us remains the same. If you are an EU business with a VAT number, just ensure that it is provided at the time of ordering so we can process your order without charging VAT, in line with intra-community supply rules.
