WADA, IOC and Informed Sport Compliance
We are committed to supplying sports nutrition products and ingredients that minimise the risk of banned substance contamination.
Cambridge Commodities are dedicated to providing sports nutrition products and ingredients that minimise the risk of banned substance contamination. We are an Informed Manufacturer certified site and operate under strict guidelines to ensure compliance with international anti-doping standards.
Commitment to Quality and Compliance
We do not handle prohibited products on-site, except where they exist in trace amounts within natural products. A comprehensive risk assessment is conducted for every product, which includes evaluating:
- Supplier handling and manufacturing processes.
- The potential presence of prohormones, stimulants, or substances listed on the WADA Prohibited List.
- Procedures to mitigate the risk of cross-contamination.
For additional details, refer to our WADA Statement.
How to Check a Product’s Risk for Cross-Contamination
To confirm the WADA compliance status of a product:
- Access our 'product technical dossiers' which contain comprehensive compliance information.
- Download the dossiers from the product page on our website.
- The IOC and WADA status can be found in the 'statements' section of each technical dossier
Informed Manufacturer Certification
Cambridge Commodities is proud to be an Informed Manufacturer, certified through the LGC’s global quality assurance programme. This certification ensures our facility is audited and swab tested regularly to minimise the risk of inadvertent contamination with prohibited substances.
Key Highlights of Our Certification:
- Routine Audits: Regular site inspections and standard operating procedure (SOP) reviews.
- Swab Testing: Verification of cleanliness and adherence to contamination prevention protocols.
- Industry Leadership: We were the first nutritional ingredient supplier in the UK to achieve Informed-Sport site registration.
We encourage our sports nutrition customers to register and test their products with Informed-Sport. If you would like specific ingredients or products to be certified through Informed-Sport, a contract will need to be established with LGC directly.
For more details on the certification process, visit Informed Sport.
